This class was truly a new experience for me. I have never been in a class where we use a blog to receive and turn in homework assignments. I believe that it was a good learning tool. This is also the first class that I have done extensive research on a topic without having a paper as the final project. I enjoyed the pathfinder project because it allowed me to focus on researching my topic in new and various ways, example:some professors will not allow students to use website resources. Overall this was a good class, I did not feel overwhelmed, as well as I was not bored with the material. The weekly assignments kept the class interesting. I also have a new out look on librarians. Before I thought librarians were older people, or those who were working at libraries as a part time job. I now realize that librarians are professions who have met specific degree requirements. Librarians are like teachers who work in the library: Highly educated, underappreciated and underpaid. I have a new found respect for librarians.
